New Delhi: US television personality and singer Tulisa Contostavlos recently shared that she identifies herself as ‘Demisexual’. She revealed it during an episode of ‘I’m a Celebrity’ while discussing her personal life and choices. According to The Independent, Tulisa, who previously served as a judge on The X Factor, is among the ten celebrities who have travelled to Australia to take part in the series. This marks her latest venture into reality television, as she joins other stars in competing on the show.
During the shoot break, teammates were sitting together discussing their dating life. Tulisa, while having the conversation, revealed that she is celibate. The 36-year-old revealed that she identifies as demisexual and has chosen to remain celibate for more than three years. She opened up about her personal journey, sharing this aspect of her identity and lifestyle with her audience.
Tulisa shared, “Although I’ve been on dating apps, I’ve never actually gone on a date with anyone from there. I’m really cautious.”
What is demisexuality?
Demisexuality refers to the sexual orientation in which a person feels attracted to someone only after they form a strong emotional connection and open up about themselves with their partner. Unlike those who experience attraction based on physical appearance or other immediate factors.
