‘You are coming too slow’: Yashasvi Jaiswal takes a hilarious dig at Mitchell Starc in 1st Test – WATCH

New Delhi: Young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal made a remarkable comeback in the ongoing first Test against Australia on Saturday during the second day of the first Test at the Optus Stadium in Perth. The southpaw started off brilliantly after India bowled out Australia for 104 in the morning session to bank on the 46-run lead in the first innings.

After getting dismissed for a duck in the first innings, Jaiswal registered his maiden Test fifty in Australia in the second innings to live up to the expectations of his potential after impressive show in India and West Indies. The 22-year-old batter hit five boundaries en route to his ninth Test fifty.

One of the fabulous shots coming from the southpaw’s bat was stepping a bit across off-stump to play a sumptuous slog off Starc’s bowling to hit the ball over the backward square leg for a boundary, missing shortly for the first maximum of the innings.

In between following overs, Jaiswal and Starc glared each other for a brief moment. Starc asked the youngster ‘What?’ The Indian batter cheekily responded, saying: ‘You are bowling too slow’.
