New Delhi: Veteran seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar emerged as the most sought after cricketer in the Indian Premier League mega auction’s second and final day in Jeddah on Monday, getting sold for a handsome Rs 10.75 crore to Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Having a base price of Rs 2 crore, he got signifcant attention when Kumar’s name was up for auction with Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants placing swift bids’
His value shot up to Rs 8 crore quickly as LSG raised the bid to Rs 10 crore, forcing Mumbai to raise it to Rs 10.50 crore. It is whrn RCB came in the picture with a Rs 10.75 crore winning bid.
