New Delhi: The New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Wood were involved in a heating argument on the latest episode of WWE RAW on November 26, Tuesday. In a backstage segment, both weren’t on the same page after the loss against Alpha Academy.
The New Day were facing Alpha Academy in a tag team match and the New Day lost the match against the Alpha team. After the loss, both were quite upset and yelled at each other in the backstage area. Both were taking shots at each other as Woods said without him, Kingston could never have become the WWE champion.
In reply, Kingston fired back at Woods by saying before joining him, Woods had never been a singles champion as he wasn’t good enough. Woods reminded KofiMania, when Kingston lost the WWE title against Brock Lesnar in just six seconds.
After the heated argument, Kingston and Woods got in each other’s faces and said both would see each other in the next anniversary week. The New Day will complete 10 years in WWE in next week’s RAW episode but before their anniversary week, a rift between Woods and Kingston emerged after the loss, and will be interesting to watch, how things will go in New Day.
WWE announced the new women’s Intercontinental Championship title. The decision was made after WWE introduced the new women’s United States championship title in the Smackdown episode. The first-ever champion will be decided by a tournament for the Intercontinental title, which will start next week on RAW.
