On Thursday, December 5, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis took the oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra in a grand event held at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance.
Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered the oath to Fadnavis. NCP leader Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde were sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers.
