New Delhi: Rohit Sharma-led Team India departed for Brisbane on Wednesday ahead of the third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The series, currently poised at 1-1, will see the third Test match take place at The Gabba from December 14. India bagged a victory in the series opener at Perth while Australia bounced back in the second Test match at Adelaide Oval.
As report by Sports Tak, the Indian team was supposed to depart from their hotel in Adelaide at 8.30 AM. The schedule was made in such a manner that Team India will travel to the airport in two buses, with all the players and the support staff boarding the bus on time. The report further mentions, that skipper Rohit Sharma, head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar were all waiting in the hotel lobby as per scheduled time.
Yashasvi Jaiswal missing, Rohit Sharma furious
The report further mentions that young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal was the only player who was missing for some unknown reasons. He did not reach the hotel lobby on time and due to his delay, skipper Rohit got furious and got off the bus, directing the support staff to look for the young batter. The manager and the team’s security officer also deboarded the bus and after some discussion, all of them got back and the bus headed to the airport with Jaiswal.
However, after sometime, Jaiswal arrived in the hotel lobby and realised that the bus had already left without him. The Indian team management had however arranged a car for him and the team’s security officer departed with Yashasvi to the airport. Apart from him, star batter Virat Kohli and pace spreadhead Jasprit Bumrah, who came with their families on the ongoing tour, had travelled to Brisbane on the same day via chartered aircraft.
Yashasvi Jaiswal irritated Rohit Sharma with his reckless behaviour as Team India left for Brisbane on Wednesday ahead of the third Test match against Australia. Cricket Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
