New Delhi: Cristiano Ronaldo has been gifted a brand-new £164,000 BMW at Al-Nassr’s training base, following the Saudi Pro League side’s new sponsorship agreement with the German manufacturer. 

The agreement is set to run until 2027 and make BMW Al-Nassr’s official automotive partner and the players are provided with a fleet of latest cars including the BMW XM and the 7 series.  BMW have similar deals with Ronaldo’s former club Real Madrid and also AC Milan. As part of the deal players get access to BMW’s luxury car models such as BMW i5, i7 and XM. Stars are provided with personalised vehicles that feature their unique license plates.

Ronaldo alonwith his Al-Nassr terammates were seen picturing themselves and signing the number plates outside the club’s training centre. Each of the Al-Nassr player received a new company car for the season including manager Stefano Pioli.

Al-Nassr shared the details of the same on their social media handle with caption- Every player, every journey. AlNassr players take the wheel of their BMWs, driving a partnership built on ambition and style.🖋️🚘

 

The five time Ballon d’Or has received the brand new BMW XM Red Label which is the most powerful model in the range. The Red Label has a system output of 550kW. In one of the clips the 39-year-old was seen offering his thoughts about the car. 

Ronaldo said, “Really nice, very comfortable. I like it, a good colour, the design is also really good.”  Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane also joined the ranks of those getting the wheels to put in their new rides to test.

Ronaldo’s new ‘A’ venture

The Portuguese star has been busy off the pitch in the recent months as he set up his own YoutTube channel and reached 10 million subscribers in just one day. He has also collaborated with several big names from the world of football and YouTube including Rio Ferdinand, Bruno Fernandes and recently MrBeast. 

Ronaldo recently also partnered with WHOOP, a wearable technology that help keep the track of sleep, recovery and behavioours using a speacialised app. Now, he has revealed a new venture on his social media yesterday after teasing the same before on his insta story as he shared a story arranging his fingers into an “A” sign.

He revealed what A stands for and he revealed the new project stating, “A new project in which I am putting all my experience as an athlete to help others improve their recovery and increase their performance. Products to take you further.” He even provided the link to the website (avathelets.com) Advance Recovery for Athletes.

Many footballers, including Kylian Mbappe and Alejandro Garnacho, as well as other athletes like Novak Djokovic, shared cryptic posts on their social media handles before the announcement.

 Currently, Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr sits in fourth place in the Saudi Pro League and are trailing the leaders Al-Ittihad by 11 points.
