Who founded the Bhangarh Fort?

The Bhangarh Fort is a 16th-century fort in Rajasthan. It was during the rule of Bhagwant Das that the town of Bhangarh was established as the residence of his second son, Madho Singh. It is located on the border of the Sariska Reserve in the Aravali range in the Alwar district and Gola ka Baas is the nearest village. The fort is located at the foothills on sloping terrain.

One day, the priest followed her and offered a love potion. The princess refused to drink it and threw it onto a large rock that rolled onto the priest and he was crushed to death. Before taking his last breath, the priest cursed the entire village.

Kuldhara is an abandoned village in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district. It was founded around 13th century and once upon a time, it was a prosperous place where the Paliwal Brahmins live. However, by the early 19th century, it was abandoned for reasons unknown. It was done possibly due to dwindling water supply, an earthquake, or as per local legend, due to Jaisalmer State’s minister Salim Singh who tortured the people.

As per the local legend, Paliwals cursed the village while deserting it that no one would be able to re-occupy it. Some people tried to re-populate the village, but they experienced paranormal activities. Over the years, the village has become popular as a haunted place.
