WPL 2025 Auction Sold Players List LIVE: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction will be held in Bengaluru on Sunday, December 15. The five franchises will have to opportunity to strengthen their teams ahead of the third season of WPL. 120 players are set to go under the hammer in the auction.
Mumbai Indians (MI) won the first season of the WPL in 2023, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the second season in 2024. 91 Indian players, 29 foreign players, and three players from Associate Nations have registered for the WPL auction.
South African player Lizelle Lee, England skipper Heather Knight and West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin have the highest base price of INR 50 lakhs. Lee recently scored consecutive centuries for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). Indian cricketer Sneh Rana also registered her name at the base price of INR 30 lakh and a couple of franchises might be interested in buying her in the auction.
