Well-known actor Siddique resigned from the post of General Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) on Sunday after allegations of sexual harassment levelled by a famous actress. The actor said in a conversation that he had sent his resignation to the organisation’s then-president Mohanlal. On the other hand, Ranjith, a Malayalam director, had also recently resigned on the very day as chairman of the Kerala Chalachitra Academy following claims of impropriety levelled against him by Bengali actor Sreelekha Mitra.

Malayalam actor Nirmal Benny dies at 37 from heart attack | Filmography Malayalam film actor Nirmal Benny, best known for his memorable role as Kochchan in Lijo Jose Pelissery’s film ‘Amen’, died of a heart attack. Producer Sanjay Padiyoor shared the news of his death on social media. “Goodbye to my dear friend with a heavy heart….Nirmal was the central character of the movie Kochacha, Ameni Dharam…He died early this morning due to a heart attack…..Praying to the Lord that the soul of my dear friend rests in eternal peace,” Sanjay wrote on Instagram.

According to the report, Nadiadwala has received a no-due certificate from the court for these films.
