New Delhi: Sayali Satghare made her international debut in the first ODI match against Ireland at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on January 10. The fast-bowling all-rounder is from Mumbai and earned her place in the team with brilliant performances in domestic cricket.
She was born on July 2, 2000 and has been a consistent performer for Mumbai. Her cricketing journey took a big turn when she was picked by Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League 2024. Satghare was on the bench for most of Gujarat’s game in WPL and was only called as a concussion substitute for D Hemalatha in the match against Delhi Capitals.
She didn’t perform to her full potential in that match but Gujarat Giants showed faith in her and retained her for INR 10 lakh ahead of the WPL 2025 auction.
A moment to cherish! ☺️
