New Delhi: Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was seen fuming over goalkeeper Stefan Ortega after City conceded two late goals against Brentford and ended up losing two crucial points. The match at the Brentford Community Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw. In the final 10 minutes, Bess struck twice to level the scoreline.
Man City found it hard until the 66th minute to break Brentford’s defence, but Phil Foden scored and gave Citizens the lead. The England international didn’t stop there; in the 78th minute, he doubled the advantage with another brilliant strike. With just 12 minutes left on the clock, three points seemed within the reach of Citizens.
But Brentford pulled off a comeback to equal the scoreline and snatch one point from the defending champions of the Premier League. Yoan Wissa found the net in the 82nd minute, and Christian Norgaard added another with a header in the 92nd minute past Stefan Ortega, who managed to get a hand to the ball but couldn’t prevent it from going in.
