The star batter amassed 3 runs in the first innings and only managed to score 28 runs off 35 balls in the second innings. He stitched a 54-run partnership for the opening wicket with Yashasvi Jaiswal and smashed two boundaries and three maximums. Rohit was removed by Yudhvir Singh Charak in the 14th over when he tried to play a pull shot but failed to connect with the ball properly and was caught by Abid Mushtaq at short mid-wicket.
