New Delhi: India defeated England by 9 wickets in a lop-sided semifinal of the U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup to reach their second successive final of the marquee event. After a sensational performance by the bowlers helped India bowl England for 113/8, batters made short work of the target and claimed victory in just 15 overs in Kuala Lumpur to stay unbeaten in the tournament.
India will meet South Africa in the final on Sunday. The Proteas stunned Australia in the semifinal earlier in the day with a five-wicket win.

Parunika Sisodia won the Player of the Match award for her superb figures of 4-0-21-3. Vaishnavi Sharma also bagged three wickets to trigger a dramatic collapse, which saw England slump from 81/2 to 92/8.
G Kamalini (56 not out) and Gongadi Trisha (35) set the perfect platform for India with a 60-run opening stand.
