New Delhi: The time and date for the sale of tickets for India’s Champions Trophy matches and the first semifinal to be held in Dubai have been revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The world cricket body has announced that the sale of tickets for India’s matches will start today (Monday) evening.
The 2025 edition of the marquee cricket tournament is scheduled to be held across Pakistan and Dubai from February 19. India will play three group-stage games in Dubai along with the knockout phase matches if they qualify from the league stage.
The Men In Blue will not travel to Pakistan after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) conveyed their unwillingness to visit the neighbouring country to ICC due to security concerns. After holding discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), ICC announced a hybrid model for this edition of the Champions Trophy.
Ticket sales for the 10 matches scheduled in the Pakistani cities of Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, began last week.
Fans can buy the tickets for the final, set to take place on Sunday, 9 March, following the conclusion of the first semi-final in Dubai, the ICC confirmed.
