New Delhi: Jimmy and Jey Uso were one of the most decorated tag teams in the WWE and both reunited in the WWE previous year on Smackdown after a year of heated rivalry. Jimmy and Jey also faced each other at the WrestleMania 40 in a singles match.
After their reunion, WWE didn’t give many matches together as they liked it before. Jey was getting a push from WWE and also won the Royal Rumble 2025. Jey will headline this year’s WrestleMania pay-per-view.
Why did WWE separate Uso brothers?
Triple H is considering Jey Uso as the next big babyface after Cody Rhodes. WWE is regularly pushing Jey in a single run as he got the first big opportunity two years ago, when he faced Roman Reigns in a singles match.
The first time WWE witnessed that their plan was working was on May 4, 2024, at Backlash in France. WWE French fans started singing Yeet anthem and after that Triple H also praised him on his social media.
WWE also has no plans for Uso brothers as a tag team. Uso brothers are the eighth-time WWE Tag Team champions and also defended their titles in the main event of WrestleMania 39 against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Currently, WWE has many tag teams on the main roster including DIY, The Street Profits, The Judgement Day, The Motor City Machine Guns, Pretty Deadly, and many more.
Jimmy is also getting push from WWE as in the previous Smackdown episode, Jimmy got the opportunity in a triple-threat match against LA Knight and Drew McIntyre for the Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
WWE is giving push to both Jey and Jimmy as both wrestlers have potential in the singles’ run and can book Jimmy vs Jey in the future also. They are still in the shades of OG Bloodline but now they will be book separately.
Jimmy and Jey Uso were one of the great tag-teams in WWE history but the creatives of WWE decided to separate both wrestlers and gave them a single run in the company. WWE Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
