Kolkata: Sustained FII dilution of positions in Indian stocks continued to create bloodbath in the Indian stock market. On February 11, Sensex settled at 76,296.55 points, down 1,015.25, or 1.31%. On the other hand Nifty, dipped 309.80 points or 1.32%, to close the day at 23,071.80 points.

A report by ratings major CRISIL stated Indian industry is expected to report a slowdown in growth to an extent of 80-90 basis points (y-o-y) 4-6% in Q3 FY25 period due to subdued performance in construction and industrial commodities sectors and investment-linked segments. CRISIAL also stated that companies that are dependent on imports are being hit by the continuous fall in the value of the rupee against the US Dollar.

Devyani International Q3 results

Devyani International came up with net loss of Rs 7.65 crore in the Q3 FY25 period compared to a net profit of Rs 5.07 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations jumped 53.22% (y-o-y) to reach Rs 1,294.40 crore in Q3 FY25. PBT (profit before tax) stood at Rs 8.52 crore in Q3 FY25, which was down 11.98% compared to Rs 9.68 crore in the same period last year. Total expenses of Devyani International went up by 54.5% to touch Rs 1,294.84 crore in Q3 FY25, thanks to higher raw material costs, employee benefits and other expenses.

IRCTC Q3 results

On February 11, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) announced a 14% jump in net profit figures for Q3 FY25 period. It stood at Rs 341 crore as against Rs 300 crore in Q3 FY24 period. IRCTC’s revenue from operations for the Q3 FY25 period was recorded at Rs 1,225 crore, which was a 10% rise from Rs 1,115 crore in the same quarter last year. IRCTC announced a second interim dividend of Rs 3 per equity share for FY25.

Vodafone Idea Q3 results

For the Q3 FY25 period, the net loss figure of Vodafone Idea went down to Rs 6,609.3 crore against versus loss of Rs 7,175.9 crore (Q-o-Q). Revenue too went up 1.7% and stood at Rs 11,117.3 crore versus Rs 10,932.2 crore in the Q2 period. APRU (average revenue per user) also went up to Rs 173 versus Rs 166 in Q2. Vodafone’s operating profits (EBITDA) rose 3.6% and stood at Rs 4,712.4 crore versus Rs 4,549.8 crore in the previous quarter and the total subscriber base was reported at 199.8 million.

Berger Paints Q3 results

Kolkata-based Berger Paints reported a 1.4% drop in net profit that stood at Rs 295.97 crore in Q3 FY25 period. The factors responsible being identified as price cuts, lukewarm urban demand and slowdown in some markets. In Q3 of FY24 period, Berger Paints had reported a net profit of Rs 300.16 crore. Revenue from operations of the company in Q3 FY25 stood at Rs 2,975.06 crore compared to Rs 2,881.83 crore in the same period last year.

SAIL Q3 results

PSU major SAIL reported a dramatic 66% drop in net profit that reached Rs 141.89 crore in Q3 FY25 period, higher expenses being identified as the driving factor. The figure for net profit for Q3 FY24 was Rs 422.92 crore. But SAIL’s total income went up to reach Rs 24,723.43 crore in Q3 FY25 period against Rs 23,492.33 crore in Q3 FY24 period. Expenses jumped to Rs 24,560.47 crore from Rs 23,140.81 crore in the year-ago period.
