New Delhi: Investors are eagerly hoping for a breather from the recent stock market selloff as the benchmark indices – Sensex and Nifty – closed lower for the eighth straight trading session on February 14, 2025, Friday.
The shares of Welspun Living, Alok Industries, Vardhman Textiles, Arvind, Kpr Mill, Garware Technical Fibres, Jindal Worldwide are expected to be in focus today after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday exuded confidence in the textile sector of the country to achieve the Rs 9 lakh crore annual exports target ahead of the 2030 deadline.
“We are currently ranked as the 6th largest exporter of textiles and apparel in the world, with textile exports valued at approximately Rs 3 lakh crore. Our goal moving forward is to triple this figure and achieve exports worth Rs 9 lakh crore,” PM Modi said while speaking at the Bharat Tex 2025.
Godrej Properties share news
The shares of Godrej Properties are likely to be in news as the real estate major acquired 12 land parcels during April-December period of 2024-25 to develop housing projects worth Rs 23,450 crore. Godrej Properties Executive Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej said the “business development was very strong during the December quarter”.
RVNL share news
In its Q3 Results 2024-25, RVNL posted a 13.1 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 311.6 crore. The Railway PSU’s revenue dropped 2.6 per cent to Rs 4,567.4 crore, while operating profit (EBITDA) was down by 3.9 per cent to Rs 239.4 crore. The stock is considered to be a multibagger as it has given huge returns in the last 1-2 years.
HFCL share price
HFCL is planning to expand its business by focusing on the growth from overseas sales and uptake of defence supplies. An official said that the form has plans to become a Rs 10,000-crore revenue enterprise, a top company official said.
In a recent investor call, Mahendra Nahata Managing Director HFCL said the company had an order book of Rs 10,000 crore as on December 31, 2024.
“We are increasing our presence by appointing our own employees, distributors, and dealers in key global markets. Our goal is to achieve a substantial rise in export revenue from our optic fibre segment, with a significant portion of revenue coming from international markets in the coming years. Additionally, we aim for a considerable share of our telecom segment revenue to be export-driven,” Nahata said.
