New Delhi: News9’s groundbreaking initiative, the ‘Indian Tigers and Tigresses’ talent hunt, continued its thrilling journey across India, making a remarkable stop in Ahmedabad. After successful trials in Delhi, Punjab (Ludhiana), Karnataka (Bengaluru), and Mumbai, Gujarat’s most popular destination embraced the event with enthusiasm, witnessing an inspiring showcase of young talent.

The trials in Ahmedabad were nothing short of spectacular, as boys and girls, aged between 12-14 and 15-17, from across the region took to the field, eager to display their footballing prowess. With every dribble, pass, and strike, these young athletes left the selectors in awe, proving that Gujarat is home to some of the country’s most promising footballers. The competition was fierce, with participants giving their all in hopes of advancing to the next stage.

The presence of passionate parents and supporters on the sidelines added to the electric atmosphere, making the trials a true festival of football. The Government Sports Hostel, where the trials were being held was packed to the brim as excited and hopeful kids gave it their all to move one step closer to a once in a lifetime opportunity to train with the best in the business in Austria.

Categorized into age groups 12-14 and 15-17, the trials saw some breathtaking performances, with the best talents earning a spot in the next round. The standout performers from Ahmedabad will now move on to a two-day camp in Delhi, where they will compete against the finest young footballers from across India. With Ahmedabad’s trials now concluded, the talent hunt moves ahead to its final two destinations, the footballing hub of India, Kolkata, and Srinagar where more young stars will get their chance to shine.
