New Delhi: The shares of Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv are in news on 30th April 2025 after both the companies declared their Q4 Results of 2024-25. Bajaj Finance stock tanked over 5.27 per cent to close at Rs 8,613 per equity share, while Bajaj Finserv stock dropped over 5.61 percent to settle at 1,951 on Wednesday.
Brokerage firm Motilal Oswal Financial Services reported that Bajaj Finance has declared good Q4 Results and company’s AUM has seen good growth. Credit cost has increased slightly as the company has updated the ECL model. The company’s estimated RoA is 4.1 percent and RoE is 21 percent by FY27, it added
Motilal Oswal said company’s valuation is expensive and gave a ‘Neutral’ rating. It provided a target price of Rs 10,000 per share.
Bajaj Finserv Q4 Results, dividend
The shares of Bajaj Finserv Ltd dropped, despite the Bajaj Group’s firm registering a 14 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,417 crore in the January-March quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s net profit stood at Rs 2,119 crore last quarter of FY24.
In a regulatory filing, Bajaj Finserv mentioned that its total consolidated income rose to Rs 35,596 crore, as compared to Rs 32,042 crore in the corresponding period of 2023-24.
The company’s board recommended a dividend of Re 1 per share or 100 per cent on the face value of Re 1.
Bajaj Finance Q4 2024-25 Results, dividend
Bajaj Finance share price plunged after the company announced its financial results and reported a 16 per cent increase in its standalone net profit to Rs 3,940 crore in the last quarter of 2024-25. The NBFC had recorded a net profit of Rs 3,402 crore in the last quarter of 2023-24.
Total income surged to Rs 15,808 crore in the January-March quarter of FY25, while it was Rs 12,764 crore in the corresponding year-ago period. Interest income increased to Rs 13,824 crore from Rs 11,201 crore a year ago.
In its regulatory filing, the company declared that its gross non-performing assets (NPAs) and net NPAs stood at 0.96 per cent and 0.44 per cent, respectively.
Bajaj Finance board recommended a final dividend of Rs 44 per equity share of face value Rs 2 for 2024-25. It has also recommended a stock split in the proportion of 1:2. The NBFC further announced a separate bonus issue in the ratio of 4:1.
Motial Oswal gave a Neutral rating on Bajaj Finance and predicted the stock to go up to the levels Rs 10,000. Bajaj Finance’s Q4 profit increased 16 percent to Rs 3,940 crore.
