Doha: In a surprising statement, President Donald Trump stated that India has offered to drop tariffs on US imports. It may be noted that the Indian government has not conformed anything on such a proposal.
The US President made the statement during his visit to Qatar. Trump’s comments came during a business roundtable in Doha.
“It’s very hard to sell into India and and they’ve offered us a deal with what basically they’re willing to literally charge us no tariff,” Trump said.
