New Delhi: The English Premier League is England’s football league with 20 clubs battling for the English champions crown. Fulham Pier is one of the most visited spots for foodies. In a heartwarming and proud moment for Indian food lovers, chef Saransh Goila has brought his signature dish, butter chicken, to the world of English football as he introduced the same at Fulham Pier. Goila Butter Chicken (GBC), the brand that made smoky butter chicken a sensation in India, has now become the first Indian food brand to partner with the English Premier League.

The announcement marks a massive step forward not just for Saransh but for Indian cuisine as a whole, as they get to enter the international spotlight at one of football’s most prestigious stages. One of the oldest clubs in England, Fulham FC, welcomed Goila Butter Chicken as part of its evolving food experience at Craven Cottage, London.

Goila Butter Chicken now at Fulham Pier

Fulham Pier is already known for being more than just a matchday destination. With its scenic riverside views and buzzing market food hall, it has become a hub for culture, entertainment, and global cuisine. Now, it gets even more exciting with the addition of Goila Butter Chicken to its food lineup.

Saransh Goila took to Instagram to share the big news, calling it a historic moment. “For a boy who started this cheffing journey in Pitampura (Delhi), this is a big deal,” he wrote. He described launching GBC at Fulham Pier as a proud milestone, not just as a chef but as a football enthusiast.

He emphasised how food connects people, and that butter chicken, no matter its debated origin, has always brought joy to the table. “This venue represents more than just food; it symbolises community and culture- a perfect fit for our mission to make Indian cuisine accessible and celebrated worldwide,” he added.

From Pitampura to Premier League

Goila’s journey is nothing short of inspirational. He started off from Delhi and turned his love for cooking into a globally appreciated brand. His butter chicken already has a cult following in India and the UK, and with this new partnership, it’s set to reach football fans in a way that hasn’t been done before.

At Craven Cottage, fans will now get to enjoy two delicious offerings on match days: a smoky butter chicken burger and a wholesome all-in-one meal bowl. These dishes have been specially curated to be both comforting and easy to eat while cheering for Fulham FC.

A new chapter

Fulham FC’s official website praised Goila Butter Chicken, stating, “Hailing from Mumbai, Saransh Goila’s Goila Butter Chicken will quickly become a year-round favourite, having already earned ‘cult status’ from the streets of India to cities across the UK.”

With this partnership, Saransh Goila is not only sharing the flavours of India but also creating a cultural bridge through food. Fulham Pier’s culinary scene is now more diverse than ever, thanks to its presence.

As the soft launch begins, Goila promised that the brand will be fully up and running by June. “I can’t wait to visit London and meet you there as Fulham Pier becomes London’s newest Delishaaas hub!” he wrote with excitement.

With vibrant outdoor seating, sunset views, and a melting pot of flavours, Fulham Pier is ready to serve more than just football thrills and thanks to Saransh Goila, India is now a proud part of that experience.
