New Delhi: After a bold and show-stopping Cannes debut, Alia Bhatt walked the red carpet for the second day with unmatched poise and flair. She walked the Film Festival red carpet for the closing ceremony. She exuded elegant charm in a sophisticated saree outfit by the House of Gucci, and also made history in a first-of-its-kind, blending elegance with star power.

Appointed as Gucci’s first-ever Indian Global Ambassador in 2023, Alia Bhatt paid a fitting tribute to the iconic fashion house by representing it at the prestigious 78th Cannes Film Festival.

The actress turned heads at the 78th Cannes Festival by embracing her Indian roots with a unique and modern touch to her Gucci-draped saree. More than just a saree, it was a reimagination of a silhouette that merged the global fashion with the traditions of our roots and enhanced the overall appearance.

Designed with a contemporary twist, the ensemble featured a structured bralette, a sleek skirt, and a flowing drape. What made it truly stand out was the subtle incorporation of Gucci’s signature GG monogram, seamlessly woven into a criss-cross pattern across the saree, adding a touch of iconic luxury.

For the makeup and accessories, she kept it simple to highlight the elegant and classy Gucci saree look with a monogram all over it. She left her hair simply open with blow-dried at the back, and for the makeup, the actress kept it minimal with kohl-rimmed eyes, nude blush and lipstick and a diamond necklace to embrace the silver work of the saree by pairing with it.

By choosing to wear a saree at Cannes, one of the world’s most glamorous red carpets, Alia celebrated the essence of India in a bold and refreshing fashion moment.

Marking her debut as the newest Global Brand Ambassador for L’Oréal Paris, Alia’s presence at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival became a powerful symbol of self-worth, confidence, and individuality. Her sartorial choices and poise echoed the brand’s iconic message—‘Because you’re worth it’—making her appearance both a fashion and a feminist statement.

Alia Bhatt turned heads at the Cannes 2025 closing ceremony, donning a custom saree by Gucci, marking the brand’s first-ever take on the traditional Indian drape. This powerful fashion moment celebrated India’s timeless elegance on one of the world’s most prestigious red carpets.  Fashion Lifestyle News -Fashion Trends, Beauty Tips, Celebrity Party News, Relationship advice, Travel and Food Tips
