New Delhi: SS Innovations International, the developers of the indigenous SSI Mantra surgical robotics platform celebrated its debut on Nasdaq by ringing the opening bell at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York City on 3 June. The shares of the company are listed under the ‘SSII’ ticker tag. The ceremony was led by the founder and CEO of SS Innovations International, Sudhir Srivastava who left behind a thriving practice in USA to develop the Mantra surgical robotics platform in India, with the goal of making the life-saving technology more accessible. Srivastava led the opening ceremony and was joined by the Board of Directors, key advisors, special guests and the management team from SSI.
Expressing immense happiness and gratitude on the occasion, Srivastava said, “Today’s bell-ringing ceremony marks a proud moment for all of us at SS Innovations International, commemorating our successful uplisting to Nasdaq in April 2025. SSI Mantra is operating in six countries
The clinically validated and patented SSI Mantra system has been installed in 80 hospitals across 75 locations in India. The company also has an international presence in Nepal, Ecuador, Guatemala, the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Ukraine. The modular and modern system allows the surgeon to be comfortably seated while operating on the patient using a stereoscopic vision system. There are additional displays available for the support staff, as well as family members if they want to track the procedure. SSI is also working on advanced virtual and mixed reality capabilities, and is continuously iterating on the system.
