New Delhi: Air India Express launched the ‘Time to Travel ‘ ticket sale with airfares starting at Rs 1,777 for travel up to September 30, 2024. The tickets may be booked from the Tata Group air carrier’s official website and app. Offer ticket fares for bookings via travel agents start for as low as Rs 1,198. These offers are only valid for travellers with just cabin baggage.

What is the Time to Travel offer
Under the Air India Express Time to Travel offer, passengers can pre-book an additional 3 kg cabin baggage without paying extra.
They can also book check-in baggage at Rs 1,000 for domestic routes and Rs 1,300 on international routes
Under this scheme, registered members will be eligible for an added 25 per cent discount on hot meals under the ‘Gourmair’ brand. Registered members are also eligible for preferential seating.
Tata NeuPass Rewards programme members can earn up to 8 per cent NeuCoins
Programme members can also receive exclusive meal deals, seating and baggage
Members may also receive flexible change and flight cancellation options
Air India Express has also rolled out special fares for the following categories;

Senior citizens
Small businesses (SMEs)

Armed forces members
The offer is valid on Xpress lite travel class.
The offer period is June 1-June 3, 2024.
It is valid for travel between June 1-September 30, 2024.

Air India Express flight cancellations, staff leaves
Air India Express was forced to cancel over 80 flights last month as its cabin crew went on mass sick leaves, hampering operations. The airline pared back operations while apologising to passengers. Since then the airline has gone to the discussion table with cabin crew union representatives over compensation and treatment of legacy staff in comparison with new hires.
Air India Express Time to Travel sale starts today until June 3 for cabin baggage only flyers. Travellers can also get a discount of 25 per cent of meals and baggage.
