1. Vegetable Suji Upma
Ingredients:
- 1 cup suji
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- Chopped carrots, beans, peas
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves, green chilli
- 2 cups water
Steps to prepare:
- Take a pan and dry roast semolina for 4 minutes, then set it aside.
- In the same pan, now add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves to splutter.
- Add vegetables and let them sauté for 5 minutes.
- Put water along with salt and let it boil for 5 minutes.
- Now add suji and let it boil until fully cooked and fluffed.
2. Moong Dal Chilla
Ingredients:
- 1 cup soaked yellow moong dal
- Chopped onion, tomato, and coriander
- Cumin seeds, salt, turmeric
Steps to prepare:
- Blend dal into a smooth batter along with water.
- Now add it to a bowl with chopped vegetables and cumin seeds, turmeric, and salt.
- Heat a non-stick pan and add a little oil to it.
- Spread the pancake mix on the pan and spread it all over.
- Cook from both sides until golden brown and serve hot.
3. Poha with Veggies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup thick poha
- Chopped onion, carrot, peas
- Mustard seeds, curry leaves, turmeric
- Salt, lemon juice
Steps to prepare:
- Rinse poha well and keep it aside.
- In a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, and curry leaves, and let them splutter.
- Add vegetables and sauté them well.
- Now add turmeric, salt and poha to the mix and let it cook for 3 minutes.
- Top with some fresh pomogranate, sev, peanuts and lemon juice for freshness.
4.Banana and Oats Cheela
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oats (powdered)
- 1 ripe banana (mashed)
- 1 egg or 2 tbsp curd
- Pinch of cinnamon
Steps to prepare:
- Take all the items and mix them well to form a thick batter with milk.
- In a no-stick pan, drizzle oil and pour the batter.
- Let it cook on both sides until golden brown.
