New Delhi: The Indian Railways’ RailMadad App is designed to facilitate quick online grievance filing and redressal related to train travel for passengers. The RailMadad App adds to the existing RailMadad portal as well as calling and SMS facilities offered by the Indian Railways.

RailMadad app is available to users of Google Android as well as Apple iOS. The app has been developed by the Centre for Railways Information Systems.
Every complaint filed on the app will be assigned a unique ID.
This will enable grievance redressal tracking.
The app will display emergency helpline numbers for passenger convenience.
RailMadad app will aggregate both offline and online complaints.
The app will create a database of complaints filed and their redressal
RailMadad app will send weekly reports on this data to officials of the Indian Railways

Facilities for women with special needs

Train- or station-related complaints
RailMadad portal and SMS complaints
RailMadad portal can also be accessed via the UMANG app, a cluster app for digital services offered by the Government of India ranging from EPFO to Passport Seva.
Train passengers can also file their RailMadad complaints using the SMS facility by sending their message to the number 139. Passengers can also call on the 139 number to register their grievances related to the train journey or railway station.

Choose from complaint tabs related to trains, station grievance tracking, and suggestions
Enter the complaint title
Fill in the date and time
Share complete information related to the incident and travel information
Upload photos, if any
Submit complaint
You will receive an SMS confirmation with a unique ID
You can track the complaint status on the app
