New Delhi: Axis Bank has informed customers about scheduled downtime related to the migration of Citibank customers to its systems, which is expected to affect banking services as well as debit and credit cards offerings and functions on different dates in July 2024. “We aim to complete the migration of your Citibank relationships by 15th July 2024, post which you will be able to enjoy all the features and benefits of your Axis Bank products,” the bank said in an email.

Axis Bank has scheduled a downtime on July 6, 2024 as follows:
Citibank debit card and credit card users will not be able to redeem rewards on this date starting at 12 am on July 6, 2024. This will include miles transfer, catalogue acces, adjustment of points towards card outstanding.
Customers will not be able to update their details, such as name, date of birth, address, ID proofs, and KYC details for all products from 12 am on July 6, 2024.
Adding new billers and registered biller payments on debit and credit cards
IVR-based credit card bill payments
Loan and top up applications on credit card
UPI handle usage

Credit card bill repayments via cheques and e-payment will be affected from 12 am on July 9, 2024.
Citibank current and savings bank accountholders will not be able to carry out international fund transfers from 12 am on July 9, 2024.

Payments to brokers
Online tax remittance

“Please note that all other services and transactions will continue to function smoothly,” said Axis Bank.
Citibank credit card bill payments via NEFT and RTGS will continue seamlessly. Customers must use the Axis Bank IFSC UTIB0000400 for these payments.
