Pennsylvania: Earlier today, US Presidential candidate Donald Trump was shot in the ear in an assassination attempt. The former president of the United States of America was hurried away from the stage with blood stained all across his face. The shocking event that happened in Pennsylvania also left two spectators critically injured.
Reflecting on the unfortunate incident, US Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy recalled his father and uncle, former US President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. While speaking to FOX News, Presidential candidate RFK Jr. also extended good wishes to Trump and his family.
RFK Jr. on Trump’s Assassination attempt:
‘I was 10-years-old when my uncle was assassinated and I remember it like it was yesterday, I was with his body in the White House. I was in the funeral procession. I remember every moment of it. I was fourteen when my dad died and I was with him when he died in Los Angeles (LA). I would send a message to President Trump tonight and to his family telling him how relieved I am that he was not badly injured. I wish him good recovery. I thank him for his courage during that event which was inspirational.
As far as the Presidential elections are concerned, Kennedy and Trump did not seem to have much liking for each other. Earlier this year in May, Kennedy came down hard on Trump for “colluding” to exclude him from debates. Kennedy also went ahead and called Trump a ‘Giant Coward’.
Replying to the remarks made by former US President John F. Kennedy’s nephew RFK Jr., Trump said that he was always up for an onstage debate.
