New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale struck Myanmar on Wednesday evening leading to a major panic-like situation in the country. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the nodal agency of the Government of India for monitoring earthquake activity in the country, the earthquake hit Myanmar on Wednesday at 7.06 pm in the evening. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 90 km in Myanmar.
According to the authorities in Myanmar stated that no immediate reports of loss of lives or properties surfaced.
The authorities were ascertaining facts about any loss during the earthquake.
