Former UFC fighter moves to Brave CF promotion after his exit from UFC

New Delhi: Muhammad Mokaev joined the new fighting promotion Brave CF after he was fired by UFC President Dana White last month after his dominant victory against Manel Kape in UFC 304 on July 28. Mokaev is unbeaten in his professional career with an impressive record of 13-0 in his MMA career and he was 7-0 in the UFC.

Mokaev was a part of Brave CF in 2020, he made his professional debut in Brave CF and he was 5-0 in the promotion but after two years he joined UFC in 2022. But now he rejoined his old promotion.

“We would like to welcome back Muhammad Mokaev, an undefeated superstar, who is an amateur legend,” said the Brave CF promotion’s president Mohammed Shahid.

Mokaev fought with Kape in his last fight in the UFC, that fight saw a firing rivalry between the two fighters as both indulged in the brawl in the fight week. UFC security has to be involved in the brawl to separate both of them. High security was also present before their bout started in the octagon.

According to the reports, Mokaev was released from the UFC because of his fighting style, many thought that he was way boring fighter in the octagon despite having an unbeaten MMA record with him. After being released by UFC Mokaev contacted PFL promotion but he failed to sign with PFL because there was no flyweight division in the promotion.

Why Dana White released Mokaev from UFC?

UFC President Dana White was very upset after the Mokaev vs Kape fight didn’t go hw fans thought off and Mokaev went for decision victory in all his seven UFC fights and also UFC 304 main event Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards failed to deliver in Manchester.

White was in full mood to release Mokaev because Mokaev did everything to hype his fight against Kape but failed to deliver at the most important time. White also suggests Mokaev to move into PFL.
