The security present at the ground had to intervene to push the crowd but the star India batter, who was placed at the deep mid-wicket boundary, showcased his heartwarming gesture by being very polite and agreeing to the requests. A similar kind of fan following has been observed for the star batter earlier also. Among the fans present, most of them were school kids who felt ecstatic after getting an autograph from their star.

It was the Day 1 of the match between TNCA XI and Mumbai at the Sri Ramakrishna College Cricket Ground. The star-studded Mumbai line-up with the likes of Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar is under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Khan.
