New Delhi: Amid her hectic schedule and being a working mother, Priyanka Chopra likes to prefer home remedies than indulging her skin in chemical-based products. On the other hand, she also believes in routines for a healthier lifestyle. The actress recounted that her days are “intense” and she has worked six days a week and 12 hours a day. Priyanka, who likes to do her own stunts, admitted that recovery time for her is more than it was in her 20s and hence, to reduce her recovery time, she opts for home remedies. Recently, The Bluff actress shared a video of rubbing raw garlic on her feet to cure inflammation, which soon went viral.

Priyanka Chopra constantly works on her immunity as she can’t afford to get sick. PeeCee told Vogue India that to increase her immunity, the actress drinks warm water with ginger, turmeric, lemon and honey first thing in the morning. Priyanka also shared that she is filming almost every day and can’t afford to fall sick as it will “derail the schedule”. However, it’s not just the morning ritual that she follows. In fact, her mother Madhu Chopra also helps her maintain flawless skin, which usually goes through a lot because of her hectic schedule. She told Vogue India that her mother has been making rice water and coconut oil masks that help shrink pores and tighten the skin which she puts on before going to bed.

Priyanka’s mother also brews potions for her behind the scenes. To cure acidity and indigestion, she recommended drinking “powdered fennel, coriander and cumin seeds with water”. For sore throat, she drinks raw ginger juice and honey shots.
