Thousands Protest Across Israel to Demand Gaza Deal After Death of 6 Hostages | VIDEO

Tel Aviv: Thousands of Israeli protesters continue to rally across Israel over the killing of six hostages in Gaza. While one faction of protesters demanded a hostage deal, another group was seen [protesting urging for more pressure on Hamas.

Videos and pictures of the protest are going viral on social media where protesters were seen gathered in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

The video above showed protesters trying to surpass officials while protesting in Tel Aviv.

Other Faction of Protestors Demands More Pressure on Hamas 

But others support Netanyahu’s strategy of maintaining military pressure on Hamas, whose October 7 attack into Israel triggered the war. They say it will force the militants to give in to Israeli demands, potentially facilitate rescue operations and ultimately annihilate the group.

A labour court ruled that the strike must end by 2:30 pm local time, accepting a petition from the government saying it was politically motivated.

‘We Were Close But…’: PM Netanyahu Seeks Forgiveness For Hostages Death

Following the killing of six hostages in Hamas captivity in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday (Sept 3) sought forgiveness in a televised address to the nation. “I ask for your forgiveness for not bringing them back alive. We were close but we didn’t succeed. Hamas will pay a very heavy price for this,” the Prime Minister said.

This comes as Hersh Goldberg-Polin (23), Ori Danino (25), Eden Yerushalmi (24), Almog Sarusi (27), Alexander Lobanov (33) and Carmel Gat (40) were identified as the six hostages killed by Hamas.

While Bibi sought forgiveness from Israel, he also pledged to make Hamas pay for this and refused to budge from his position stalling the ongoing hostage-truce talks.
