New Delhi: Asuka has been missing from the WWE since the Backlash event in May earlier this year. While her fans await her return, there was something to be pleased about for them on Monday as she shared a seemingly exciting message on her social media. What’s interesting here is that the post arrived after news about the WWE’s future broke earlier on the same day.
Ex-champion Asuka currently deals with a knee injury which had ruled her out but the news about her future in the WWE came as a surprise for her fanbase. If reports are to be believed, Asuka has re-signed with the company for a long term. She was about to compete in this year’s Queen of the Ring event but pulled out later due to her injury.
Asuka took to her social media account on Monday, when RAW is held, to share a selfie with a thinking face emoji as its caption. The post has garnered over 7000 likes and several comments discussing her potential extension with WWE.

The RAW star has not taken the ring for over 100 days as she recovers from her injury but she did make a surprise appearance last month during Japan’s tour of WWE.
Asuka’s achievements
Many from the WWE fandom believe that Asuka carries an incredible personality apart from being an excellent performer inside the ring. To name a few of the Damage CTRL memeber’s achievements, she is an ex-NXT Women’s Champion, a SmackDown Women’s Champion, and also three time WWE Women’s Champion. She notably won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2020 and clinched victory in the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble.
Despite a brilliant record, Asuka still hasn’t won a single bout at the WrestleMania as she has a record of 0-6. It remains to be seen if a win at the biggest event of WWE is on the cards and what’s her future in the company for that matter.
Asuka recently shared a post on her social media with not any kind of reference but her time of sharing the post reveals pretty much about her stint with WWE. WWE Sports News: Latest Cricket News, Cricket Live Score, Sports Breaking News from Sports Today
