New Delhi: Rishabh Pant made a brilliant comeback to red-ball cricket in the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match witnessed many outstanding performances from youngsters. The wicket-keeper batter is known for his playful banter on the field and on the morning of Day 4 of the match, Pant humorously joined the team huddle of Shubman Gill-led India A.
Skipper Gill was talking to his players in huddle before taking the field. India A were fielding at that time and the players were in white jerseys, but another player in the huddle was wearing a blue training kit. It turned out it was Pant who was listening to all of Gill’s pep talk and then had a fun banter with fast bowler Avesh Khan.
“India A in the huddle this morning, who is the gentleman in a blue t-shirt. It’s Rishabh Pant, India B. He knows the plans,” the commentator said on-air as Pant joined the opposing team’s huddle.
