New Delhi: Team India T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav celebrated her 34th birthday on September 14, 2024 (Saturday). Wishes have been pouring for the flamboyant Indian batter since the start of the day but the wish that certainly stood out was none other than from his better half – Devisha Shetty. She shared a set of couple pictures on her Instagram, penning a heartfelt note as the caption of the post.
SKY and his wife Devosha are well known for their romance and loving bond as both keep posting each other on their respective social media handles. As Surya turned 34 on Saturday, Devisha took to her Instagram to wish her hubby. Surya has always credited Devisha for her love and support in his success so far. Other than the wish that her WAG made, Surya’s social media is flooded with fans remembering his iconic match-winning catch of the T20 World Cup 2024 final.
“Happy happy birthday to my best friend, husband, lover, my world and the best decision of my life! Thankful for you every single day. You make this world a better place and I don’t know what I’d do without you. love you now and forever,” Devisha wrote as the caption. More than half of the pictures were new to the fans, which gave a bit more inside look into the personal life of the couple.

Jay Shah wishes SKY
Even the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah extended her wishes to the star India batter. He posted a picture with Surya on his Instagram account and captioned it, “Happy Birthday to our T20I skipper and Mr. 360 with the bat, @surya_14kumar! I’m excited to see you lead the Men in Blue to many victories in the shortest format. Best wishes for the year ahead!”
Suryakumar is currently recovering from a hand injury that he sustained while fielding during the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament. He was sue to play in the Duleep Trophy 2024 but the injury has kept him on the sidelines for the first two rounds of the tournament. Being a part of India C, he is expected to feature in their next clash which is against India A, starting on September 19.
Surykumar has expressed his excitement about gaining the Test spot in the Indian cricket team back, saying that he is looking forward to some red-ball fun. India are set to play 10 Tests in total in the coming months with the two-Test Bangladesh series starting on September 29 in Chennai. India will host New Zealand for a three-Test series and will tour Australia for five Tests, part of the Border Gavaskar Trophy that kicks off on November 22.
