New Delhi: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will on Monday launch the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) initiative to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem.
The BHASKAR initiative is a part of Startup India program aimed at centralising, streamlining, and enhancing collaboration among key stakeholders within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including startups, investors, mentors, service providers, and government bodies.
The BHASKAR platform will enable startups, investors, service providers, and government bodies to partner, exchange ideas, and increase growth.
As per the government, over 1,46,000 DPIIT-recognised startups exist in the country and BHASKAR will become the one-stop digital platform to address the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and investors alike. The platform will enable stakeholders to get personalised BHASKAR IDs which would facilitate easier interaction, relevant opportunities and partnerships.
BHASKAR key features
The aim is to build BHASKAR as the world’s largest digital registry for stakeholders within the startup ecosystem.
BHASKAR will help in Networking and Collaboration, and help in smooth interaction between startups, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders.
The platform will provide ‘Centralised Access to Resources’. The startups have easy access to important tools and knowledge, which will result in faster decision-making and more efficient scaling.
Creating Personalised Identification: The stakeholders will be assigned unique BHASKAR IDs, that would ensure personalised interactions and tailored experiences across the platform.
Enhancing Discoverability: BHASKAR platform will be equipped with powerful and advanced search features to help users locate relevant resources, collaborators, and opportunities.
BHASKAR platform will support India’s Global Brand and help promote the country’s global reputation as a hub for innovation, which would further help collaboration between domestic and foreign players.
“As India’s startup ecosystem continues to grow, BHASKAR will play a critical role in enhancing the country’s global standing in entrepreneurship. By fostering a culture of collaboration, the platform will help startups overcome challenges and build innovative solutions that address the needs of tomorrow,” the Ministry of Commerce & Industry stated.
DPIIT will launch BHASKAR, which the government calls a revolutionary platform for India’s startup ecosystem. The launch of BHASKAR is aimed at driving forward India’s startup ecosystem. Biz News Business News – Personal Finance News, Share Market News, BSE/NSE News, Stock Exchange News Today
