Huge expectations from Mayank
All eyes will be on Delhi speedster Mayank, who rose to fame in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, with his express pace. The young fast bowler hogged the limelight after bowling some sensational and fierce spells for his IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The right-arm pacer consistently hit the 150 kph mark to attract attention from global media.
The 22-year-old is one of the three uncapped players along with Nitish Reddy and Harshit picked for the Bangladesh T20Is.
Mayank grabbed eyeballs with his extreme pace, however, his tournament was cut short due to an injury. During the injury-hit campaign, Mayank picked up seven wickets in four matches at an impressive average of 12.14 and a strike rate of 10.43.
After the first T20I in Gwalior on October 6, both teams will travel to Delhi for the second T20I on October 9 followed by the third game on October 12 in Hyderabad.
