New Delhi: Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir has faced a lot of backlash on social media for promoting a betting app. The Indian coach was criticised heavily for advertising a fantasy cricket app on his social media account X. Gambhir posted an ad for Reall 11 and within no time of his tweet, many netizens called him out for promoting a betting app.

Meanwhile, Gambhir is currently busy with Team India’s T20I series against Bangladesh. Under his guidance, Indian team thrashed the Bangla Tigers 2-0 in the Test series, and also took a 2-0 unassailable lead in the T20 series, with the last match to take place in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. Team India have a busy schedule as after the culmination of the T20I series, they will host New Zealand for a red-ball series, which starts on October 16.
