New Delhi: Bill Goldberg made his surprise entrance at the WWE Bad Blood pay-per-view on October 4, Sunday. Former WWE Hall of Famer faced off with WWE world heavyweight champion Gunther. Gunther made some inappropriate comments about Goldberg in the ring, Goldberg came from the crowd and confronted Gunther in front of Triple H.
Goldberg teased a match between him and WWE champion Gunther by shouting loudly “You’re next” in the ring. Fans were hyped up after Goldberg’s action in the ring and everybody thought Goldberg would make his return to the ring after WWE Bad Blood.
An American television producer Eric Bishoff revealed that Goldberg retiring soon on his show ’83 Weeks’. He also stated that Goldberg’s return to the ring would be a boost to the wrestling industry. He also expressed that Bron Breakker will be the most preferred opponent for Goldberg’s final opponent.
“I would be using Bill to help get somebody over, and I would look for an underdog. I’d look for somebody young or I’d look for something that had a story to it that you could tell without having six months of TV behind you — is there a way to use Rick Steiner’s son? You could use Rick; they’ve done a good job of establishing the Steiner brothers since WrestleMania. Their name even came up a couple of times tonight, so the audience knows who they are and why they’re being talked about. They also know the relationship with Bron and the connection to Bill going back to WCW,” Bischoff said.
Goldberg’s last In-ring action
Goldberg was last seen in action in the Elimination Chamber 2022. He fought against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Goldberg was defeated by Reigns in an intense match. It was a significant match not because Goldberg lost the match, it was a comeback from Goldberg’s side after a long absence from the ring.
Goldberg only fought 11 times in the ring after his return to the WWE in 2016. Every time fans are eager to see Goldberg in the ring and action and what happens in Bad Blood, it will be an interesting storyline whether Goldberg makes his return to the ring or not.
