Hezbollah terrorists have claimed responsibility for a drone strike on the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the coastal town of Caesarea.
The images revealed that the drone caused damage to a section of the property, with trees cut in half and part of the building’s façade blackened. A glass portion of the house appeared to have developed fine cracks, creating a cloudy effect, likely from the drone’s impact.

According to Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the drone struck a building in Caesarea, where Netanyahu resides, in what he described as an intentional attack on the prime minister. The area, located about 20 kilometers south of Haifa, has been a regular target of Hezbollah attacks.
Hezbollah’s spokesman Mohammed Afif confirmed during a press conference that the group was behind the attack. “Hezbollah declares its full, complete and exclusive responsibility for the Caesarea operation targeting… Netanyahu,” Afif said. The press conference was cut short after an Israeli evacuation warning for the region was issued.
“Attack on me and my wife was a grave mistake,” says Netanyahu
The attack marks a significant escalation in hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, which has been involved in ongoing conflicts with Israel since late September. In a statement on Saturday, Netanyahu directly accused Hezbollah of attempting to assassinate both him and his wife. “The attempt by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake,” he said, promising retaliation.
“Anyone who tries to harm Israel’s citizens will pay a heavy price,” Netanyahu added, addressing Tehran and its proxies, including Hezbollah. This incident comes amid increasing tensions in the region as Hezbollah fighters have reportedly been captured by the Israeli army in recent clashes.
The attempted assassination underscores the growing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, with potential ramifications for the broader Middle East, especially as both sides brace for further escalation.
