New Delhi: The share price of Indian Railway Finance Corp Ltd (IRFC) and NCC are in Green on October 30, 2024 (Wednesday). IRFC, a funding arm of Indian Railways, is a Schedule ‘A’/Miniratna Public Sector Enterprise under administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. The company came into existence in December 1986 for “mobilising funds from domestic and overseas markets to meet the pre-dominant portion of Extra Budgetary Resources requirement of Railways”. NCC is engaged in the business of construction and infrastructural development. The firm helps in the construction of buildings, transportation, water & environment, electrical (T&D), irrigation, mining and railways sectors.
IRFC share price and financials
IRFC share price jumped over 7 percent to Rs 154.12 apiece at 12:40 pm today. The stock has turned out to be a multibagger in the last one year as it gave over 110 per cent returns. In its Q! Results of 2024-25, IRFC registered a growth of 1.4 percent. The revenue jumped from Rs 6,673 in the first quarter of 2023-24 to Rs 6,765 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year.
The Railway PSU’s net profit was almost flat at Rs 1,576 crore, as against Rs 1,551 crore last year. The Net Interest Income for Q1 of 2024-25 went up by 1.8 per cent from last year to Rs 1,611 crore. IRFC will be declaring its Q2 Results 2024-25 soon.
NCC share price and financials
NCC shares have risen over 20 per cent in the last six months and more than 100 per cent in the last one year. The stock was trading at Rs 294.65 at 12:55 pm. In its Q1 2024-25 results, NCC Ltd reported a 21 per cent year-on-year advance in net profit. The company registered a net profit of Rs 222.53 crore in the quarter, as compared to Rs 184.22 crore in the same quarter of 2023-24. The construction company’s revenue increased by 26.2 per cent to Rs 5,527.98 crore.
