Elon Musk’s $1M Giveaway to Voters Gets Court Approval
A Pennsylvania judge ruled Monday that Elon Musk’s daily $1 million giveaway to voters can continue, in a victory for the tech billionaire, though the sweepstakes is set to end Tuesday on Election Day.
Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Angelo Foglietta rejected arguments from the city’s district attorney, Larry Krasner, who argued that the sweepstakes was an illegal lottery that violated state law and must be halted immediately.

Trump Rallies in Pittsburgh, Mocks Harris and Beyoncé
In Pittsburgh, Donald Trump, sounding hoarse and appearing more orange-faced than ever, began his final Pennsylvania rally by revisiting his favorite topic: crowd sizes.
Speaking to a near-capacity crowd, Trump pointed out that rival Kamala Harris was also holding a rally in the city that night. Though Harris’s event had not yet started, Trump brazenly claimed, “It’s quite embarrassing, it’s all over the internet, she’s screaming and the people – there’s about a hundred people – they’re not moving, they just want to go home, just be done with it.”
Stretching his arms wide, he added: “It’s not quite this!”
Trump also mocked Harris’s recent joint appearance in Houston with singer Beyoncé, whose name drew angry boos from the crowd. He stated, “There were no songs, there was no happiness, it was just like, ‘Give me my cheque, I want to get out of here.’”
He falsely claimed: “They booed both of them the hell out of the stadium.”

Trump Rants About Schiff During Pittsburgh Rally
In Pittsburgh, Trump is expressing his frustrations with Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff, who led the first impeachment trial against him. Schiff is expected to easily win the U.S. Senate race in California, where he is up against Steve Garvey, a Republican former baseball player with no political experience.
Garvey, however, is not a strong Trump supporter; he has declined to state whether he plans to vote for Trump in the California primary.
It seems likely that some Republican members of Congress would prefer Trump use this primetime speech to discuss their competitive races rather than focus on an unwinnable Senate race in California.

Harris gets out her own vote in Pennsylvania
Harris went canvassing in Pennsylvania on the eve of Election Day, visiting two homes in Reading as she campaigned throughout the state. Harris, and the considerable motorcade she travels in, pulled up to a home where three people waited for the Democratic nominee.
“Hi guys,” Harris said.
“Oh my God,” said the family, seeing the vice president on their porch.
“Sorry for the intrusion,” Harris added. The family said they planned to vote on Tuesday morning and that they had made up their minds, but they did not say who they were backing.

Trump on stage at his penultimate rally in Pittsburgh
The rally serves as a redo after Trump’s initial closing message speech went off course. During a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Trump’s hometown, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a controversial joke about Puerto Rico, calling it a “pile of garbage.” This remark upset many Puerto Ricans and hindered Trump’s attempts to gain support among Hispanic voters.
While Puerto Ricans are US citizens, they can only vote if they reside in one of the 50 states.
Trump has distanced himself from the comedian but has not condemned the joke.
