India showcase superiority vs Germany

In their last assignment that came in October this year, India men’s hockey team took on Germany in a two-match Test series at home. The first match of the series was won by world champions Germany while India clinched the second game of the series 5-3. But the Harmanpreet Singh-led side was unfortunate as the Germans took the series in shootout.

Before the Test series against Germany, India beat hosts China 1-0 to retain the Asian Champions Trophy title 2024. Jugraj Singh was the lone goal scorer in a tight finale which tested the patience of both the teams but at the end, India proved to be a better side tackling and deflecting the attack by the Chinese opponents.
