The list of nominees features names from all the four South Indian film industries including, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Films like Ponniyin Selvan: 2, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, Dasara and 2018 are among the nominees for Best Film categories. Female actors such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mrunal Thakur and Anushka Shetty bagged nominations in this year’s list.
