New Delhi: As is the nature of T20 cricket, the form of all-rounders can make or break campaign of teams. Hence Indian Premier League franchises make a beeline for top-end all-rounders and it won’t be any different in IPL 2025 mega auctions.

There have been multiple all-rounders who have made a mark in the IPL, making them much sought after during auctions.

A look at top five all-rounders who could fetch big money IPL 2025 mega auctions in Jeddah on November 24 and 25.

Marcus Stoinis

The Australian was bought with much excitement by Lucknow Super Giants in 2022 in their debut season. He justified the faith with solid performances throughout his time with the franchise.

The 35-year-old was one of Australia’s better players in the T20 World Cup in June and his ability to contribute equally with bat and ball would again be highly valued at the auctions.

Glenn Maxwell

The bombastic middle order batter and useful off spinner has always attracted plenty of interest from IPL franchises. Stints at Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru prove of his appeal.

Playing for RCB in 2021, he struck a cord with the fans of the franchise. But he went through a wretched form last year though the Australian remains highly-rate that coukd fored RCB to use the right to match (RTM) card.

Liam Livingstone:

The Englishman can hot the ball, high and long. It is this ability that enables him to single-handedly decides the fate of matches while batting in the middle order.

He has also developed to be a handy spin bowler in recent years, with a knack of picking up wickets at crucial intervals.

Though he didn’t quite take Punjab Kings to the title round last year, they could still persist with him by using the RTM card as his skills are hard to get easily.

His strong show for England in their recent series against Australia and West Indies would have only increased his demand in the eyes of potential franchises.

Sam Curran

Another Englishman whose ability with the ball and bat is craved by teams. Though he has been a bit off-colour since 2022, his ability to be a floater n the batting order and natural swing with the new ball isn’t in any doubt.

So expect heavy bidding as he experience if leading Punjab Kings as well, in the absence of regular skipper Shikhar Dhawan with injury.

Washington Sundar

The left hand batting all-rounder has suffered from injuries in recent times that kept him on the sidelines of few Sunrisers Hyderabad matches last year.

But his contribution at the top of the batter and spin bowling can be very effective for teams in crunch situations of matches.

Still only 25, any IPL team could bank on him for a good couple of years before the next cycle of auctions. Being an Indian, teams would have an option for going for foreigners in other departments that makes Sundar’s worth go up even more.
