New Delhi: Vijay Malik looked at his best as he bagged a stunning 14 points to help Telugu Titans edge past Bengal Warriorz 31-29 in match no. 67 and clinch their third successive win in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 11 on Thursday, November 21. With the win, Telugu Titans jumped to the second spot of the PKL 11 points table. Haryana Steelers, who lost their last game, scripted a turnaround and got back to winning ways, defeating Bengaluru Bulls 32-26 in the second game of the night.
The Titans secured five points after their win against the Warriorz as they now sit right beneath table toppers Haryana Steelers. The Warriorz started on a strong note as Pranay Rane and Manjeet bagged early points. However, Vijay Malik helped the Titans as he used the momentum to shift the tide in their favour. He executed a raid that resulted in three points as he got the good of three Bengal stalwarts, also taking one non-raid technical point.
