New Delhi: Young Indian batter Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his red-hot form in Test cricket with another magnificent knock came from his willow. On Sunday, the 22-year-old brought up his fourth Test hundred during the third day of the first Test match against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The youngster completed his first three-figure mark in Australia in a fashionable manner.
A short ball from Josh Hazlewood and Jaiswal went for the ramp shot. He waited for the ball to come above his head and just pushed the bat up to clear the ball over the head of the non-placed leg slip and the ball touched the cushion of the boundary ropes miles behind the wicket. A six to bring up the hundred is what many dream in Australia. But then Jaiswal is one of the few exuberant players to go with his way.
He removed his helmet with a grin displayed on his face, kept his bat and helmet on earth, opened his both arms after a vivid kiss, clenched the left fist, turned a bit around to acknowledge the crowd before embracing his opening partner KL Rahul on the pitch.

This was a massive turnaround for the young Indian player after being dismissed for a duck in the first innings. He smashed nine fours and three sixes to complete his third century of the calendar year. He joined the likes of Sunil Gavaskar (1977-1978) and ML Jaisimha (1967-1968) to hit hundred in Australia in their first Test match.
KL Rahul departs for 77
KL Rahul edged behind the wickets to Alex Carey off Mitchell Starc’s bowling in the 63rd over as Australia got their first breakthrough. He made 77 from 176 balls with just five boundaries carted in his determined and composed innings. Rahul and Jaiswal posted 201 runs for the first wicket partnership, making it the highest opening stand for India in Australia.
