IPL 2025 auction: Purse remaining for all teams after Day 1 – Full list

New Delhi: A total of INR 467.95 crore was spent by the 10 IPL franchises on day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction on Sunday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 84 players went under the hammer on the first day, out of which 72 bagged a contract while 12 failed to attract any buyers.

Team India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant broke all records and became the most expensive player in IPL auction history. He was roped in by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for INR 27 crore. Shreyas Iyer was picked by Punjab Kings for INR 26.75 crore. All-rounder Venkatesh Iyer was roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 23.77 crore in the mega auction.

Meanwhile, the bowlers also had a good day in Jeddah. Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh were bought by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for INR 18 crore each. T Natarajan was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 10.74 crore while Khaleel Ahmed was picked by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at INR 4.8 crore. Mohammed Siraj was roped in by Gujarat Titans for INR 12.25 crore while Mohammed Shami was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for INR crore.

Remaining Purse Of All 10 Teams After Day 1

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) still have the biggest purse remaining after Day 1 of the mega auction, with INR 30.65 crore still left to spend on Day 2. Mumbai Indians have a remaining purse of INR 26.1 crore and Punjab Kings have INR 22.50 crore left in the purse.
